...to my new and still improving website. As you can see by that ginormous header, I am the author R. M. Wilburn, writer of the young adult magical adventure series In Search of the Nexus, featuring 12-year-old Buggy Crenshaw.

Also, my most recent novel, Magpie & Dilly is the first book in a sister series--A Nexus Series Tangent. Information about all of my books and ongoing projects can be found on this site, so by all means, make yourselves at home and stay awhile.

As for this long overdue new website...This is exactly the place to go if you want to learn more about me, my books, or my...(ahem)...artwork...

(Please be aware: the word artwork is used very loosely quite recklessly around here!)

If by some bizarre chance it turns out that you don't find what you're looking for, please drop me a note via the email links (cleverly disguised as largish purple envelopes addressed to me), or make use of those handy Twitter & Facebook buttons over there to your right. That big square R is also a link and will lead you to my blog Ponderous Things where you may likewise reach me via email (or post comments, of course).

Also, beings that this site is still quite new, you may very well wander into a bug or two. If you happen across any glitches, bugs, or other miscreants, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will remedy the situation pronto!

As you can see, this is truly a writer's website, made quite obvious by the scraps of paper lying about with notes scribbled on them. This is simply what writers do, after all...

In most cases, these notes are actually links that will lead you to some very interesting places: both on this site and off, so tread lightly, my friends, lest we become separated. (This is your cue to bookmark this site!)

In addition to being a writer's site, this is also where a rampant doodler runs amok, doodling here and doodling there. This, as you know, is what doodlers do...

Of course, the same words of warning apply to the doodles and other fine artwork you may happen across while wandering about these pages: many are links that just might whisk you away to places unknown (but very cool nonetheless)! Be sure to investigate all headlines & images closely, for I admit...there's some very fun things happening here and...I've hidden secret pages all about this site!

If you should stumble onto one (or more) of these hidden treasures, don't panic, but also, be very careful who you tell your tale to afterward! (These pages are secret, remember!)
